Education Channel Partner to Debut June 2008

1105 Education Group Extends Product Line to Target Sales Channel

January 24, 2008, Chatsworth, CA -- 1105 Media, publisher of T.H.E. Journal and Campus Technology, has announced a key expansion of the 1105 Education Group with the introduction of Education Channel Partner. This new business unit will focus on the important information needs and critical issues facing distributors, value-added resellers and other channel professionals in the education market.

The bi-monthly Education Channel Partner magazine and its companion website, www.edchannelpartner.com, will be launched in June. Content will include such vital topics as creating demand, selling technology to non-tech budgets, what schools want, working with ESCs, and more. By targeting the strategic and practical needs of sales professionals, Education Channel Partner complements the Education Group's flagship titles, T.H.E. Journal and Campus Technology, the premier educational technology publications for the K-12 and higher education markets, respectively. Education Channel Partner will have an initial targeted circulation of 25,000, including sales managers and representatives, college bookstore and teacher store managers, resellers and distributors.

Education Channel Partner is led by an exceptional team of education technology and publishing professionals. Publisher Jerry Rosenbusch has more than 20 years in the industry, and is currently the president of 7th Wave Consulting. Editor-in-Chief Therese Mageau is a publishing veteran with 20 years of experience in education publishing, including serving as Editor-in-Chief of Electronic Learning magazine.

"The education sales community, both vendors and partners, has been hungry for the focused information that the Education Channel Partner brand will provide," said Publisher Jerry Rosenbusch. "We're pleased to meet this need and assist education partners in understanding the scope and intricacies of this vertical market."

"Selling to the education market is challenging, with issues ranging from funding and market size to collaborative decision-making," said Therese Mageau, editor-in-chief of Education Channel Partner. "I'm excited to be part of this new publishing effort to help the professionals working in the channel make sense of this complex market."

President and Group Publisher Wendy LaDuke oversees the 1105 Education Group. LaDuke has been involved in education technology publishing for 21 years and is an active member of the Consortium for School Networking, Centers for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, and State Educational Technology Directors Association.

"We are committed to--and have deep roots in--the education market," said LaDuke. "The addition of Education Channel Partner rounds out our family of products by providing the valuable, quality specialist information that our readers and advertisers have been seeking."
