The Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) has partnered with Pearson to provide online access to the annual Georgia Assessment for the Certification of Educators (GACE) test results report. The new offering is aimed at providing information and analytics to administrators of teacher preparation programs.

According to the announcement, the reports will be made available through a secure section of the GACE Web site. The faculty resources section of the site has also been expanded to include information on how to read and interpret the new resource. Additionally, GaPSC has collaborated with Pearson to produce a series of free Webinars intended to help program faculty and administrators interpret annual institution summary reports.

"At the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, we recognize that collaborating with our state's educator preparation programs is one of the best ways we can ensure that our prospective teachers possess the knowledge and skills necessary to best educate our students," said Kelly Henson, executive secretary, in a prepared statement. "Working with the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson, we are using the power of online communications to provide all educator preparation program providers, including deans of colleges of education and their faculty members, with the information they need to ensure that their students are prepared to become teachers in our state."

According to Pearson, the Evaluation Systems group is responsible for developing and managing Georgia's overall certification testing program.
