STEM Site Adds Tools for Evaluating STEM Resources

Sally Ride Science has upgraded its STEM Central web portal, which launched last month. The free site, which houses more than 3,000 links to STEM-related resources, now includes tools that allow teachers to evaluate and rank the resources and add their own links.

STEM Central is designed to provide teachers with access to practical STEM materials and allow them to see how their peers are applying "these resources in their own instruction on STEM fields and careers," according to Sheryle Bolton, CEO of Sally Ride Science. All resources are vetted by experts from Sally Ride Science to ensure accuracy and relevance to STEM issues. Users can search for resources by topic, grade levels, and media format.

STEM Central is available for use at no charge.
