For a limited time, public libraries, universities and colleges can obtain a free copy of BananaCom Customs, communications software designed for first-time modem users.

Upon installation, the program finds the modem, sets the communications (COM) port and speed, and dials a pre-selected modem service without any user intervention. Users need not worry about technical issues such as terminal emulation.
