FETC Brief: Bretford Launches 'Instructional Workstation'

Bretford has introduced a new classroom multimedia station targeted specifically for instructors in classroom settings. The UCS880 Instructor Workstation is being shown off this week at the FETC show in Orlando, FL.

The UCS880 Instructor Workstation is a multimedia rack-mount system (part of Bretford's "Basics Series") that's designed to replace a traditional instructor's desk, providing a standard 19-inch cabinet for hardware, as well as cord management and other features to support classroom technologies in K-12 and higher education. Features include:

  • A 19-inch rack system that can be placed in the interior cabinet;
  • Grommet holes and cord management bin;
  • Rear-panel access and locking doors;
  • Adjustable work surface (from 26 inches to 33 inches); and
  • Swivel wheels for transport the system between classrooms.

The UCS880 Instructor Workstation is available now for $1,236. Bretford is exhibiting at the FETC conference this week in booth 574. More information can be found at the links below.
