Parent engagement app Bloomz is offering $10,000 to one school's parent-teacher association as part of the company's Spring Cleaning giveaway. To enter, schools must sign up for a free 30-day trial of the Bloomz Premium parent-teacher communication app, and get teachers to use the app during the trial period.

The Bloomz app provides communication, coordination and classroom management tools, including parent-teacher instant messaging, photo sharing, calendar and signup forms, behavior tracking, and student portfolios. The premium version offers additional features such as unlimited cloud storage and an engagement dashboards. For the $10,000 giveaway, every activity in the app (such as a message, post or photo shared), counts as an individual entry in a random drawing. When the contest ends on Aug. 31, the winner of the drawing will receive $10,000 for his or her PTA or PTO to fund school projects.

In addition, Bloomz is offering a $500 giveaway for teachers who hold a professional development session at their school to demonstrate the app, share pictures on social media using the hashtag #SpringCleanCommunication, and get colleagues to join Bloomz using a personal invitation code. For every user who joins the app, teachers will get another entry in the $500 drawing.
