North Carolina educators will now have access to professional development resources through a new collaboration between The Innovation Project (TIP), a nonprofit collaborative focused on transformative education practices, and online professional learning provider Teaching Channel.
The nonprofit AI Education Project (aiEDU) recently released a Pulse Survey Report finding that educators "feel a mix of curiosity and apprehension about integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the classroom." And while educators surveyed believe AI should be part of the curriculum, most haven't used it or been trained to use it.

Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, has opened a new EdTech Studio within its Eriksson College of Education. The space will offer technological training for pre-service teachers through the use of virtual reality.
Professional education development company Edthena has launched an AI Accelerator program, including the "AI Coach by Edthena" platform to assist K–12 teachers with professional development.

Project Tomorrow will mark the 20th year of its Speak Up Research Initiative and present its cumulative findings “From CDs to AI” during the nonprofit’s annual Congressional Briefing at noon ET on Thursday, Oct. 26, and K–12 administrators, educators, and policymakers may attend virtually at no cost.
