Information Systems Publishers Merge

Course Technology and boyd & fraser have merged to become the world's largest publisher of information systems (IS) products to the higher education community. The new company,called The Course Technology Communications Group (CTCG), will collectively publish more than 450 IS titles."This unprecedented focus and combined resources will enable us to make investments in incredible technologies and services which will shape the classrooms of the future," said JohnConnolly president of CTCG.The group will have two imprints: boyd & fraser will publish the Shelly Cashman Series, and Course Technology (CTI) will publish the New Perspectives, Illustrated and Starts Hereseries as well as all other CTI titles and titles transferred from boyd & fraser.As part of the new publisher's World Wide Web strategy, instructors and students will be able to access additional supports, services and online product companions for all CTCGproducts from one common Internet site: www.course.com/course.html
