HP Notebook PC Sports 90MHz Pentium Processor

The HP OmniBook 5000 notebook PC combines Intel's 90MHz Pentium processor with L2 cache and full PCI bus architecture to achieve performance usually found only in desktop systems. Units offer large displays with either VGA or SVGA resolution, up to 1GB of hard-disk capacity and HP's instant-on feature, which provides immediate access to applications without rebooting. Designed for Windows 95, the OmniBook 5000 supports Plug-and-Play, hot docking and infrared wireless data transfer. Standard features include 16-bit SoundBlaster-compatible stereo sound, a lightweight lithium-ion battery, built-in SCSI-2 port, NTSC/PAL video-out, two Type II PCMCIA slots (or one Type III slot) and Native Signal Processing capability. Users may also swap an optional second battery for the built-in floppy drive, doubling battery life, or connect the notebook to a LAN, peripherals, external speakers and audio devices via a docking system.
