Author Training SW For the Web

IBTauthor is an Internet-Based Training (IBT) authoring system that allows interactive training courses on any subject to be created, published on, and conducted across the Web without requiring special runtime software. These interactive training courses can be delivered to anyone with access to standard web-browsing software such as Netscape or Mosaic. Courses currently being deployed include internal company product and procedures training to preparation for college entrance exams. IBTauthor includes all the training features users enjoy in conventional computer-based training systems. Full multimedia including graphics, audio and video is supported. Anyone comfortable with a word processor can use the software -- even convert existing courses created with popular word processors. Any type of computer with Internet access can take IBT courses; authoring and publishing require Windows 95 or Windows NT. Macintosh and UNIX versions are planned.
