WebApp is a software program that dramatically simplifies installation and execution of software distributed by Web servers on the Internet. The program works in conjunction with Web browsers to retrieve applications referenced in a Web page. A single mouse click is all that is required to install and run these applications. Creating applications that can be installed by WebApp is simple and requires no programming changes and no royalties. Online help, tools and samples are included, and a Windows shareware version of WebApp is available at www.iat.unc.edu/ software/webapp/index.html.
