Accelerated Reader Release 4.0 features new tracking and reporting functions, in addition to its already proven reading-comprehension testing capabilities. The program offers more than 20 handy reports that reveal at a glance how students are performing. Educators can select precise criteria and view and print reports based on their selections. Accelerated Reader 4.0 has enhanced security features such as several password levels that are completely customizable and security reports that alert to unauthorized access attempts. Teachers can now control when students print Reading Records, whether reading levels appear in reports, which books are appropriate for readers to test on, multiple-report printing and more.
