Jostens Unveils Strategic Alliances

Jostens Learning Corp.'s (JLC) new strategic alliances program allows the firm to offer a broad selection of third-party education software. The software will be enhanced and integrated into JLC's extensive K-12 curriculum product line. JLC already has signed product-distribution agreements with three companies: Microsoft, Videodiscovery and Learning in Motion. JLC's Curriculum Collaborations program will augment their products with teacher's guides and an instructional management focus tied to a district's learning objectives. Michael Brannick, vice president of strategy and planning at JLC, says the alliances will benefit schools by letting them purchase popular software by subject or grade level for stand-alone or networked machines.
