ERIC Report Identifies Trends in Ed. Tech.

New from the ERIC Clearinghouse on Information & Technology, Trends in Educational Technology 1995 identifies and discusses current trends in educational technology, including technological literacy for teachers and television in the school. This fourth edition incorporates data and trends from previous editions and adds key information from nearly 1,200 journals, dissertations, conferences and ERIC documents. For example, the report found that about 75% of schools have cable service and 17% have satellite dishes, with the most frequently watched programs supplied by PBS, The Discovery Channel and CNN.
