Program Aids Students In Career Choices

SIGI PLUS is career guidance and planning software that features straightforward instructions and logical sequencing that enables users to work independently. It was developed by non-profit Educational Testing Service.

A brief program introduction is followed by eight core sections, each covering an important step in career decision making. Students work through the program at their own pace, following recommended sequences or accessing only those sections relevant to their needs.

SIGI PLUS helps each user examine their key motivators then matches work-related values, interests and skills to educational and career pathways. Students explore a range of options based on their personal choices, and take with them printed materials to use as a reference.

Educators who license SIGI PLUS get promotional materials plus a newsletter three times a year. Educational Testing Service, Princeton, NJ, (800) 257-7444, www.ets.org/sigi. WD
