CD Helps Auto Techs Pass the ASE Tests

The ATC (Automotive Technician Certification) Challenge is an interactive CD-ROM designed to prepare technicians for ASE certification tests. All questions are ASE-style and vary in difficulty. Hints are provided to aid comprehension, critical thinking and retention.

This test preparation software comprehensively covers the main ASE test areas of Engine Repair, Automatic Transmissions and Transaxles, Manual Drive Trains and Axles, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electrical/ Electronic Systems, Heating and Air Conditioning and Engine Performance.

The ATC Challenge, authored by ASE-certified master technician Don Knowles, assesses strengths and weaknesses by identifying which topics one needs to study further. Students can easily customize it to select which exam topics to work on, whether or not assistance is desired, and the difficulty level presented. It also provides a detailed report at the end of each session. Delmar Publishers, Albany, NY, (800) 347-7707, www.delmar.com
