Simulation Explores Life After Death

An off-beat strategic simulation, LucasArtsí Afterlife program invites students to assume the role of regional manager of an alien societyís ìGreat Beyond,î where recently deceased souls must spend their eternity.

Players manage the arrival of souls by zoning and developing areas for the seven deadly sins and their opposite virtues. Failure to keep souls happy will result in ìall hell breaking loose.î

Intended as a fantasy game, Afterlife challenges young peopleto think quickly in an unconventional, irreverent virtual environment. LucasArts Entertainment Co., San Rafael, CA, (415) 472-3400, www.lucasarts.com
