SIS Module Assists Parent-Teacher Comm.

C.L.A.S.S. 2000 Classroom Manager, from Educational Assistance Systems (EAS), is part of the integrated C.L.A.S.S. 2000 school administrative software system (Windows/Mac) that simplifies record keeping and reporting in administrative offices and classrooms.

The Classroom Manager module lets teachers create grade books from existing computerized data that is already in the front office on a computer in many schools. Teachers no longer need to type in all of the information for every class. The program provides for attendance taking, discipline tracking, data exporting to phone dialing systems to alert parents of student progress or upcoming school activities and more.

With C.L.A.S.S. 2000, teachers can post their grades on the Internet so parents may access studentsí progress on a day to day basis. Parents can also send teachers e-mail, furthering parent/ teacher communication. Educational Assistance Systems, Inc., North Tonawanda, NY, (800) FASTDIAL, www.fastdial.com
