Engineering Tool Has Improved Interface

Excelís MacA&D 6.0 is a software engineering tool. It suits object-oriented analysis and design, structured analysis and design, real-time and multi-task design, and data and screen modeling. Features include integrated code generation with editing/ browsing, requirements traceability, use cases and a multi-user team dictionary.

Over its 10-year lifespan, MacA&D has been adopted by thousands of university and government users. Version 6.0 represents the next major step.

The software boasts new manuals and an improved tool bar that places popular commands across the top of the screen. A single button click takes one to the relevant text specification, source code, dictionary entry or associated requirements for a selected diagram object in any type of graphic model.

Over a dozen sample projects and tutorials are included, and it is document-compatible with WinA&D for Windows 95/NT.

Registered owners of earlier Excel products can upgrade for half the price or less. In addition, a discounted educational version supports all engineering methods, but is limited to small to medium-sized projects and licensed for teaching only.
