Wave Tech. Expands Its Online Services

Wave Technologies has implemented three new services that extend training opportunities for IT professionals. Training courses, appropriate for K-12 and higher-education systems managers, cover topics such as Windows NT, Windows 95, Microsoft Internet Information Server, TCP/IP and HTML.

First, Waveís Online University lets one register for and take self-paced courses on the Internet, supplemented by audio, video and simulations on CD-ROM. Instructor support will be offered through a real-time chat function (from 8am-7pm ET).

Second, new intranet-enabled versions of training products will be shipped to all corporate technology license customers. The enhanced EduNet Plus product allows managers to add their own content and track progress.

Third, participants in Waveís classroom-based training programs can complete a brief skill and knowledge pre-assessment online. Results are transferred to the instructor, who can then adapt content to meet individual needs. Wave Technologies International, St. Louis, MO, (800) 994-5767, www.wavetech.com.
