Integrated Voice and Data Helps Enable Collaboration

Spectel’s Audio and Data Collaborative Solution integrates voice and data for collaborative conferencing, allowing users to create, control and edit presentations, proposals, spreadsheets and other PC documents in real-time over the Internet. Collaborative conferences can be scheduled in advance or initiated on demand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without the need for an operator.

Both audio and video components of the conference can be booked using a single Web-based reservation form that includes participant list management and options to request automatic e-mail and/or fax notifications with conference details to each participant. After the conference, both audio and data billing components are automatically formatted to the customer’s existing billing format.

The full suite of teleconferencing systems includes the Confertel 7000, which is scalable in 23/30 to 720/900 ports (T1/E1) in a single cabinet and up to 45,000 ports in a multi-system configuration. It offers integrated reservation management, credit-card validation and telco-grade billing. Spectel, Denver, CO, (888) 712-9785, www.spectelglobal.com.
