Learning Adventures in Citizenship is an interactive project designed to promote student participation and volunteerism in their communities. It is an educational companion to Ric Burns’ six-part series, New York: A Documentary Film that premiered on PBS in November. The site contains a virtual tour of New York City and other "learning adventures" geared toward teaching the value of community involvement.

At ePlay, grade school students can find lots of engaging homework help in the form of worksheets and activities, as well as informational resources. Kids and teachers can create their own launch pages. There are also free curriculum-based resources for teachers, students and classes.

At Go Math, students can e-mail their math questions and be helped by tutors with extensive teaching experience.

Interesting site for teachers that delves into techniques for art education, the use of technology in the curriculum, and brain research and its implications for educational settings.

Homework Central offers links, searches, creative lesson plans and an online notebook to help direct students and educators to a more effective Internet experience.
