Put a “Spell” on Your Documents

Merriam-Webster has introduced Merriam-Webster’s Spell Checker, a comprehensive software program featuring nearly twice as many words as other spell checkers. Over 300,000 words from Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary make up the program, including proper names, geographic locations and medical terminology.

 

Available for both Windows and Macintosh, the spell checker is compatible with most word processing programs and other programs that handle text, including all Microsoft Office and Lotus SmartSuite products.
