Assessment Platform Controls Online Test-Taking Environment

Vantage Learning has released VANGuard, a new online assessment platform that assures test validity by restricting a student's access to online and desktop information. VANGuard provides complete control of the online test-taking environment, enabling access to only approved online and desktop resources appropriate to the test.

With VANGuard, schools and administrators can disable a student's access to any Web site, hot keys, menus and right-click mouse functions during the administration of an online assessment. It eliminates the possibility of students consulting outside information located on their computers, which could compromise the legitimacy of the assessment.

VANGuard is the latest in a series of advanced artificial intelligence and statistical assessment solutions from Vantage Learning that seamlessly integrates all components of the online assessment delivery system, from scheduling and registration through delivery and reporting.
