Talking E-mail 4.0 is a Windows-based program that uses animated characters to announce new e-mail and read selected lines of the message. Talking E-mail is customizable with a rule system that allows users to specify the behavior of the character and what it will say when a message arrives from a specific individual. A variety of animations, sounds and other settings are available. The system also comes with a Talking Clock; Talking Clipboard, which allows you to listen to text from Web pages, Word documents or any other Windows application; and Talking Reminders, which remind users of birthdays, meetings and special events.
