Editors' Picks ... Higher Ground Laptrap

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

The Higher Ground Laptrap (www.laptopclassroom.com) from Shaun Jackson Design Inc. is the ultimate padded sleeve for notebook computers, which easily unfolds into a fully functional mobile work space. When folded up, the Laptrap measures 14" x 11" x 3" and is able to accommodate most large-screen notebooks. The Laptrap features a padded nonslip Gripdeck that the notebook sits on, which provides a thermal barrier between the laptop and the user's lap. It is also flexible enough to use on a desktop.

Additional features of the Laptrap include a CD and DVD media storage/organizer panel with 12 pockets; two roomy pockets that open from beneath, which can store anything from cables, drives and power supply accessories to PDAs and digital cameras; and a document storage pocket that is perfect for holding a thin stack of papers, folders, manuals, magazines or other documents. The Laptrap also offers a few valuable safety features such as shock-absorbing EVA foam and waterproof coated nylon fabric. In addition, the company sells a lightweight backpack strap harness ($14.95) and a single shoulder strap ($9.95), which make the Laptrap and its contents more convenient to carry around. The Laptrap is priced at $59.95, and special educational discounts are given for quantity orders.
