2004 T+L(2) Conference

October 27-29 · Denver, CO

The National School Boards Association’s annual T+L2 Conference promises to touch on the major issues in K-12 education. Also being held at the Colorado Convention Center, this year’s conference features everything education and technology leaders have come to expect, such as keynote speakers and preconference sessions, plus a few new additions for the attendees’ convenience and enjoyment.

T+L2 2004 features two Showcase Luncheons that will discuss topics such as handheld use in the classroom and utilizing technology to achieve measurable results. The conference will provide attendees with materials from sessions, workshops, activities and events, as well as feature a blog that highlights ideas and resources. In addition, the conference’s Arts Spotlight will recognize superior student work that combines technology and art. Schools and districts are welcome to participate in this event.

This year’s conference workshops are divided into two categories: district and general conference workshops. The district workshops are case study-like sessions featuring examples of exemplary district technology implementations. The conference sessions are more traditional workshops that explore topics such as assessment and evaluation; social, legal and ethical issues; and support, management and operations.
