MEDIATECH designed the MT-XL-BM Starfish room controller with K-12 classrooms in mind. Theunit features serial RS-232 and infrared control capability, a built-in infrared learner, schedulingcapability, security lockout, backlit buttons with more than 240 button labels, and a Windows-basedconfiguration utility. Users can choose between configuring the controllers themselves through theavailable templates on the Mediatech website or ordering them preprogrammed. Price: $289.
