Da-Lite Upgrades 3D Grey Projection Screen

Da-Lite Screen Co., which has been successful at 3D projection screen development for a few years now, announced an increase in gain on its 3D Grey Projection Screen.

The new 1.85 gain is about 40 percent higher than the previous gain of 1.3, yielding a much brighter image while maintaining polar retention of the previous material.

Designed specifically for 3D front-projection systems, 3D Virtual Grey is a flexible projection fabric that the company reported retains 99 percent of polarized light.

Other characteristics include high image contrast and the ability to maintain high extinction values and virtually eliminate ghosting or crosstalk common with stereoscopic 3D projection. The 1.85 gain is compatible with low levels of ambient light and is available in seamless sizes up to 16 feet in height.
