Pitney Bowes Unveils K-12 Exam Tracking System

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Pitney Bowes has announced a new exam tracking system, designed specifically for K-12 schools and districts. The Arrival Exam Tracking System is designed to help institutions track and manage state-mandated test booklets through the automation of several tasks.

The new system uses a four-step process to track test booklets from arrival to use to shipment back to the warehousing facility, giving district staff real-time data on the whereabouts of each exam. The Arrival platform makes use of software, digital signature pads, cordless scanners, and label printers to streamline and automate required protocols.

"State-mandated tests are increasing nationwide and at all grade levels, so districts have the challenging task of disseminating, controlling and accounting for all of them," said Jeff Marshall, vice president of customer marketing for US Mailing at Pitney Bowes, in a prepared statement. "Maintaining the integrity of testing programs and complying with the federal No Child Left Behind Act are crucial, but can be costly and labor-intensive if done manually. Pitney Bowes' Arrival Exam Tracking System can help customers automate manual processes and turn tracking and reporting into an easily-managed practice that deliver tests where they need to go with true reliability and accountability."

According to Pitney Bowes, an additional benefit of the platform is the ability for schools and districts to customize the application to fit with their specific test administration policies and procedures.
