##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

American Education Corp. (AEC) has released two new titles for its A+nyWhere Learning System (A+LS), both focused on early reading.

A+LS is a network-based e-learning system targeted toward K-12. It includes more than 5,200 lessons and 200,000 pages of research, courseware, and other content. It also integrates assessment and curriculum management tools. The courseware covers core subjects, including language arts, math, science, and social studies, as well as electives, such as anthropology, art appreciation, health, lifetime fitness, and sociology.

The new supplemental curricula include Storybook Phonics I (designed for students in grades K through 2) and Storybook Phonics II (designed for students in grades 1 through 2). They each include 15 e-books, as well as study guides, practice tests, mastery tests, and other materials. They were produced by Cambridge HitachiSoft Educational Solutions through a partnership between the two companies.

AEC said the new titles are designed for independent and team study and are compatible with interactive whiteboards "for whole-class instruction." Further information can be found here.
