ProProfs Quiz School Gets New Assessment Capabilities

Ed tech developer ProProfs has expanded the capabilities of its free online assessment creation system, Quiz School.

Quiz School is a Web-based system designed to let educators create online quizzes and practice tests for their students. In addition to custom quizzes, the service provides a library of pre-designed quizzes, which range from K-12 education to technology certification, SAT and GRE prep, and general trivia.

In its latest iteration, Quiz School beefs up its capabilities through Quiz Maker, which adds features that "allow you to create more complex quizzes and customize style and results," according to ProProfs. These include an expanded set of tools available for use, including Google Maps. It adds options for scoring and reporting; it gains customizable styles; and it now includes support for graphs. Quiz certificates can be printed out with full user information, and users gain a new dashboard in their profiles that allows authors to "compile the results and stats into a digital report card that is tracked
and stored online."

Finally, the latest version now also allows authors to control who can access a quiz and set limits on how many times a quiz can be taken.

ProProfs Quiz School is a free service. Further information is available here.
