Odysseyware Launches Diagnostic and Remediation Tools

Online publisher Odysseyware has started offering expanded curriculum resources designed to help students transition from the traditional classroom to online learning, including videos and writing and diagnostic tools.

The new tools include more than two dozen new course offerings that are integrated into learning management systems. Among new offerings is Odysseyware Writer, a writing tool aligned to the Common Core English Language Arts Writing Standards. The tool is designed to improve writing skills by assessing where students are currently at and then building writing skills through exercises and instruction, as well as scoring rubrics.

Other new offerings include:

  • Odysseyware SPARC, a remediation tool aligned to skills and concepts involving the Common Core Curriculum;
  • Odysseyware Investigations!, a video-based offering that draws connections between what students are learning and the real world; and
  • 25 new courses with 23 new CTE offerings suggested for division into three distinct career clusters Business Management and Administration; Health Science; and Hospitality and Tourism.

Additional course offerings from Odysseyware are also in the works, the company reported.
