iNACOL To Host Free Webinar on Hybrid Learning

The International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) will host a free webinar focused on the rotational model of hybrid learning.

Presenters Ken Zimmerman and Collette Cairns will talk about how the rotational model works at their school, Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 (IU13).

"IU13 classrooms are implementing hybrid learning through direct, independent and collaborative stations — bringing together the best of two worlds: teacher-led instruction and rich, online digital media," according to a news release. The webinar will offer information on the school's changing instructional practices and is designed to help attendees better understand the rotational model and classroom management in a hybrid environment.

"Blended learning is changing the culture of classrooms across the United States," said Susan Patrick, president and CEO of iNACOL, in a prepared statement. "Students are taking ownership of their own learning, teachers are able to facilitate personalized instruction using real-time data and schools are innovating to support student achievement and success using the best of technology and pedagogical practice. This webinar will provide school and classroom leaders with insight into a successful implementation of blended learning and offer promising practices that attendees can use in their own programs."

The webinar, scheduled for April 16, is free, but registration is required. Visit inacol.org for more information or to register.
