Edgenuity, a provider of K–12 online and blended learning, is offering California high school students innovative new courses, including a state-required contemporary health course and a suite of electives that have earned “a-g” approval.
High schoolers will have the chance to learn solar energy design, cryptography and chemistry in three new courses added to the offerings by the Virtual High School (VHS). VHS is a Massachusetts-based non-profit that offers online courses to students in any state and many countries.

The virtual schools market in North America is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of almost 13 percent from 2017 to 2021, according to a new report by market research firm Technavio.
