Deadlines are nearing for 15 awards and grants from the National Science Teacher Association for K–12 teachers and students in the sciences. There are 14 teacher awards open for applications/nominations and one award open to female students in grades 5–8. The deadlines for most are Dec. 15, 2021, with the remaining deadlines being December 17.

SAS has launched a course designed to teach K–12 educators new strategies for understanding and communicating data to students. SAS also created a set of separate resources for K–12 educators “aimed at helping digital native students also become data natives as well.”
Adobe and Khan Academy have teamed up for the development of “new, free online learning resources that foster creative and critical thinking skills, helping all students reach their potential and ultimately, be better prepared for college and career pathways.” As part of the effort, Khan has named Adobe its creative partner. Adobe will contribute $1 million toward the development of content.
