Pkg. Helps Maintain License Compliance Across Networks

Version 4.1 of KeyServer monitors and controls customized software installs and maintains license compliance throughout a network. Network managers may "deputize" a Macintosh-based installer so that any application program it creates is automatically metered and protected from piracy. License compliance is enforced throughout the site even for programs installed by end users. In addition, both Macintosh and Windows clients can now run KeySentry, which lets selected machines monitor the KeyServer and provide real-time warnings about problems such as bridge or router failures and near-full disks. Finally, the KeyAudit utility transforms applications that have already been installed to bring them under KeyServer management. Sassafras Software, Hanover, NH, (603) 643-3351. WM
