Four Learning Programs Have Migrated to Windows

Nordic Software announced that four of its existing titles for Macintosh are now available for Windows. Aimed at kids 5 and up, the programs apply the latest interactive techniques to teach math, telling time and foreign vocabulary. Language Explorer animates language discovery with sights and sounds in four languages -- Spanish, French, German and English. Players choose from 42 different topics and over 500 words in each language. Turbo Math Facts drills students in addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. With Coin Critters, one builds math skills by counting and spending U.S. coins. Finally, Clock Shop uses human speech and animation to introduce analog and digital conversion, setting time from word problems, terminology, and clock math.
