Paint on 3D Objects Directly With Program

MeshPaint 3D is an easy way to apply textures and colors to 3D objects, bringing the convenience of traditional 2D paint programs to the 3D animation environment.

Simply load the program and your 3D object, and apply colors and textures directly on the object as in a 2D paint program. Colors are contoured to objects, which can be rotated and tilted in any direction as they are painted.

Users can choose from various stamps, brush tips and colors, or create their own. Polymap allows one to automatically generate a map with outlines for every polygon.

Designed as a plug-in routine for Autodesk's 3D Studio, the software will also be available as a stand-alone program for Windows 95, NT and Macintosh. Positron Publishing, Inc., Omaha, NE, (800) 365-1002. WM
