Preview Key Points Of Any Document

Visual Recall 2.0 is the latest version of XSoft's document management system that provides users with instant visual analysis of their document collections.

The program features an Excerpt Browser that automatically extracts and highlights a document's key points to provide an overview of its contents. Users view either a yellow-highlighted version of the document that shows the excerpted text in the context of the entire document or excerpts that are pulled from the document and arranged in "bullet" format.

Version 2 provides improved integration with popular desktop applications, allowing users to run Visual Recall searches, browse and open retrieved documents and automatically store them into Visual Recall. The program's NetWare Application Server features text indexing and content searching implemented as a NetWare Loadable Module (NLM), and offers full remote wide-area network (WAN) access letting users index text in real time over the WAN.

A direct link to Microsoft Mail allows users to send and receive documents directly from the program's window. And users can easily index their e-mail messages and attached files to search for information contained in them.

The new version adds Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Spanish to its support of English, French and German. XSoft, Palo Alto, (800) 428-2995, www.xsoft. com. W
