New CD Supplies Look at Our Century

Our Times Multimedia Encyclopedia of the 20th Century serves as a basic reference to the events of the last 95 years.

Based on the best-selling book Our Times, the CD the disc covers 20th century life in captivating articles, essays, images and video documentaries. James Earles Jones is the narrator.

Enriching the resource is the inclusion of the complete Columbia Encyclopedia, Fifth Edition CD, on the same disc. All stories in Our Times are linked by hypertext to related stories as well as to entries in the Encyclopedia. In the future, links to online content will be integrated.

One navigates the century via a timeline-based interface. All the content is fully Boolean searchable by source, category, timeframe, key words and phrases.
