Home Ed. Titles Simulate History

Entrex, a well-known publisher of science and social studies software for schools, introduces a new line of home education titles.

Two titles, American Revolution and Civil War, offer simulations of those epic conflicts, allowing players to juggle political realities with military necessities. Similarly, in Discover the World II, one must decide where to travel and how to react to threats, which intensify over time.

In Germicide, youngsters take on a different type of enemy -- bacteria, viruses and parasites. To survive, they must eat the right foods, exercise daily and have a good night's sleep. Finally, Hannibal's Her'es, Knights and Kings, and Supreme Command simulate conquests in Italy, England and Germany.
