"Shock" Students With Authoring Software
Authorware Academic 3.5 now supports Shockwave!, allowing educators to turn static Web pages into live, multimedia stations. A full-featured version of Macromedia's Authorware 3.5, Authorware Academic is limited only by the amount of icons and user-definable variables per program (jumpouts are also unavailable).
Designed and priced ($150) with educators in mind, the authoring package brings interactivity, video, sound, animation and high-quality graphics into lectures and tutorials, without the hassle of learning to program.
Included with Authorware Academic are Authorware Models for Instructional Design -- 28 media-ready frameworks with sample content; and Authorware Projects which includes a Test Generator, Online documentation and a learning Game Project.
