PCI Card Houses Up to 8 Modems

COMMBLASTER is a full-size PCI card that houses up to eight modems, each directly connected to the high-speed bus via a single PCI interface chip. All circuitry is contained on the card, alleviating the need for additional serial ports, cabling or power supply modules. Colored LEDs indicate modem activities. 

The multi-modem card is available for all PCI-based Power Macintosh models as well as Windows/Intel platforms that support Windows NT; it comes in 2-, 4-, 6- or 8-modem configurations at 14.4K or 28.8K data rates. 

Additional cards can be plugged into other PCI slots as required to access more than eight telephone lines. Second Wave, Inc., Austin, TX, (512) 329-9283.
