Appropriate for upper elementary through adult education programs, Word Problem Work-Up helps students interpret word problems involving whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percents.

The software breaks down the process of answering word problems into four steps: numerical evidence, strategy, operation and solution. The program(Windows/DOS) follows NCTM standards, and context sensitive help is available as needed. A teacherís utility provides diagnostic information and record keeping.

Word Problem Work-Up can be used in conjunction with other Merit Audio Visual software to help students prepare for the SAT, ACT, GED and other state proficiency exams.
