Firm Helps Colleges Deliver Distance Ed.

The International Community College (ICC) extends membership opportunities to community college districts throughout the U.S. that are interested in distance education. Relying on satellite, cable and emerging technologies, ICC develops a broad range of scheduled and on-demand programs and services in multiple languages.

Participating colleges can deliver: credit courses for AA/AS degree programs and for transfer to four-year BA degree-granting institutions; customized instructional modules or courses for businesses, associations, public agencies or foreign governments on a contract basis; and new curricula for growing industries.

Instructional materials will be developed, coordinated and marketed by ICC, a non-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors with representatives from The League for Innovation in the Community College, Jones Education Company and JEC College Connection. International Community College, Englewood, CO, (303) 792-3111, www.intlcc.org.
