CNN Produces a Multimedia Package for the Millennium Series

CNN's Millennium series, premiering October 10th at 10-11p.m. (ET), will showcase some of the most significant people and events of the past 1,000 years. It will continue on Sundays for ten consecutive weeks, covering one century per episode. To integrate the series into the classroom, Turner Learning will offer complimentary curriculum materials to educators.

Millennium combines television, video and a complete educator's guide to report the past achievements of cultures worldwide.

Educator materials include a Web site containing segment summaries, discussion questions for each episode, historical background, contemporary connections for each segment, activities, assessments and Internet links to the CNN Interactive companion site.
