Toshiba has introduced four new MediaStar XGA LCD Multimedia Projectors, bringing new levels of brightness, performance and value to their pantheon. While costing thousands less than many competitive models, these units utilize advanced technologies to achieve 1,800 lumens (ANSI) of brightness in its new 700 Series projectors (the TLP-
770 and the TLP-771), and 800 lumens (ANSI) in its new 500 Series models (the TLP-570 and TLP-571). Designed for use with all computers, VCRs, camcorders and DVD players, these projectors display images in sizes ranging from just 25-inches for small classroom presentations to 25-foot pictures for large audiences.
The 700 Series projectors offer total flexibility and super high-resolution images, even in fully lighted rooms. Both display full XGA (1024 x 768), compressed SXGA (1280 x 1024) and compressed UXGA (1600 x 1280) resolutions. With a choice of 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios as well as component video inputs, both units are ideal display devices for DTV and DVD sources.
Offering many of the same features as the 700 Series, the 500 Series projectors are designed for value as well as performance. Both series come with an ergonomically-designed remote control that includes wireless mouse control and a built-in laser pointer. All the units are EnergyStar compliant for energy efficiency.
