Networking - Aironet's ISA and PCI Wireless LAN Adapters

Supporting their series of 11-megabit wireless LAN products and their IEEE 802.11-compatible networking products, Aironet's ISA and PCI Wireless LAN Adapters enable the installation of computers in difficult-to-wire areas, such as older buildings. These easy-to-install wireless LAN adapters are also used to support new PC users or temporary PC workgroups without the delay of wiring.Designed to comply with the IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN standard, Aironet's adapters communicate with the Aironet 4800 and 4500 Series of direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) wireless LAN products, and the 3500 Series of frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) products. The wireless LAN adapters are network interface cards for 16-bit ISA bus or 32-bit PCI computers. When installed, they provide access to all network resources anywhere within the coverage area of an Aironet Access Point or other IEEE 802.11 access point.
