Showing Some Fiber Optic Backbone

Fiber Optic Inc.'s 9832 Fox-dBm is a full turnkey fiber-optic system designed to service particularly demanding requirements such as those commonly represented by interbuilding trunking systems. The system provides a high-speed fiber-optic backbone for the delivery of duplex video, audio, communications data and contact closure to a central site across a distributed architecture.

Remote field units, or nodes, may be configured for 1 to 32-channel operation. A central master unit, or headend, is capable of supporting up to 32 real-time video input signals from transmitter field units (nodes). Systems can be custom configured in a nearly infinite variety of ways depending on the requirements of specific applications. Each 9832 system can support up to 32 remote nodes, with up to 5 miles (8 km) between nodes. This gives a maximum system length of 160 miles (256 km).
